Traditional Black Door Handles
Our traditional black door handles have had rigorous testing to ensure that they are the high standard our customers have come to expect from Suffolk Latch Company.
One of the key factors was the weight of the lever handle. With earlier tests, it was discovered that after a short time the handles would gradually drop as the spring in the lock mechanism weakened. To prevent this from happening, we have now incorporated a separate spring into each half of the handle sets, increasing durability. We also went away from the usual sprung steel spring in favor of an all stainless steel unit that will allow for thousand’s of operations over a longer period of time.
Each style of handle is sold as a pair and supplied with fixing screws and a mortice bar.
The hole center’s for the bathroom and lever lock options are at a standard 57mm. We also offer a range of separate mortice mechanisms in 3 lever lock, bathroom and tubular latch options. Please be aware that if you intend to use this item on an external door, your insurance provider will require you to install a 5-lever lock.
