Along with the traditional Gothic and Suffolk Latch our Penny End T Hinge ( sometimes known as a Tee Hinge) is one of the most popular products in our Door Ironmongery range. As a rough guide the T Hinge should cover about half the door width. This style of hinge came about in an attempt to prevent the individual planks of a ledge and brace door slipping and dragging on the floor, with modern fixing techniques this is no longer a problem.
