How Do I Clean My Hinges?

Quite often, we get customers calling or emailing us asking how they clean their hinges. With this in mind, we've decided to write a step-by-step guide to answer this. 

  1. Remove the hinges from the doors or cabinet. You'll need to do this by removing the screws first.
  2. Mix a bowl of warm water with some washing up liquid until the water is soapy, then soak the hinges for approximately 30 minutes.  Ensure each hinge is below the surface level, allowing them to soak fully.
