Free Delivery in the UK will take around 3-5 business days. Express and International Delivery is also available. Orders received before 11am Monday to Friday will be processed that day. Orders received after 11am are processed and despatched the following morning. 24 hour orders placed after 11am on a Friday will be processed for delivery the following Monday morning. There are a couple of things to note with regards 24 hour delivery, firstly 24 hour means that the goods will be delivered the next working day, not 24 hours after the order was placed, for example orders placed on a Monday morning could arrive on Tuesday late afternoon, secondly if you require a Saturday delivery you MUST choose the Saturday option, if you opt of a noon delivery on a Friday it will be with you by noon on the Monday. We hold our stock at our factory and are open for local customer pick up. The factory is open Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.30 pm, anyone wanting to collect outside of these times please contact us to arrange a mutually convenient time.
We have two finishes of beehive door knobs in our collection, rosewood and ebonized. The rose plate, spindle and fixings are finished in antique brass. These vintage looking mortice door knobs would not look out of place on a Georgian panelled door. The rosewood version is machined and lightly oiled to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. The black door knob has the same base material but is finished in a hard wearing lacquer. Its important to note at this stage that this style of antique door knob would not be suitable for use with a rim lock, if that is your intension you should take a look at our bun and ringed door knob collection. Because this style of knob is unsprung we would strangle recommend that you use them in conjunction with our heavy duty tubular latches. We also have a range of heavy solid brass 3" Butt Hinges again in three distinct finishes.
We have put together a detailed product specification sheet that you will finder under the dimensions tab, here you will be able to download a printable PDF document. We have also added a short blog describing the process of installing our beehive knobs.
