The Round Turn & Release in oil rubbed bronze is a thumb turn lock for bathroom doors. This privacy lock is made from solid bronze and has a traditional oil rubbed finish. Co-ordinate with our oil rubbed bronze Door Knobs & Door Handles On Rose.
Important Fitting Info: These thumb turn locks work in conjunction with a Bathroom Deadbolt or Bathroom Sash Lock. Turn and releases are especially recommended if you have small children and can be operated from the outer side of the door in any emergency situation.
Please note: The traditional oil rubbed living finish is designed to patina with time. In the highest wear areas, the darker colour will gradually burnish to a lighter copper. When first unboxing your bronze turn & release you may also notice a pale bloom on the surface of the bronze. This is caused by oxidisation of the oil rubbed finish during storage and can easily be removed with an application of a light oil, such as WD40, and buffing with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or metal cleaners.
