Shipping Policy

All our products displayed for sale on the web site are available for shipping either via Royal Mail 1st Class or Parcelforce 24. 

Orders received before 11.59 am Monday to Friday will be processed that day. Orders received after will be processed and despatched the following morning.  Orders placed after 11.59 am on a Friday will be processed for delivery the following Monday morning.

We ship anywhere in the UK including Highlands, Islands and Western Europe.  Anyone wishing to purchase our products that live outside of these areas please contact us to discuss shipping options and charges.

All orders within the UK have no delivery charge. Any packages under 2kg are sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class.  Packages over 2kg and up to 30kg are delivered by Parcelforce. 24 hour service is available at checkout, this is charged at cost.

Any parcels sent by Parcelforce can be tracked using their tracking system.  Each customer will receive a unique tracking number by email.  Royal Mail parcels are sent by the first class system and proof of postage is obtained for each parcel.  If you require goods to be signed for this would be charged extra at cost.

We hold our stock at our factory and are open for local customer pick up.  The factory is open Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.30 pm, anyone wanting to collect outside of these times please contact us to arrange a mutually convenient time.


Suffolk Latch Company accepts returns for any reason if the customer tells us their intention within 14 days of order and then ensures we receive the product within 30 days after that (44 days overall) in addition to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which provides a ‘cooling off period’ allowing a consumer buying online from a business to cancel their order. Notice of cancellation needs to be received in writing within 7 days. Items must be received back in the condition sent & sent by a fully insured traceable method. Unless item is faulty/not as described you as the buyer are responsible for all return costs - please use a traceable postage service.


All conversations regarding returns and refunds must be held over email ( and not telephone.
